Let me explain this.

Many ASUS P35/X38/X48 mobos can run Celeron D after clearing CMOS and F2 to load the default setting, mobo will run at 533 fsb.

But if you want to change any thing in BIOS, mobo has to run 800 fsb at least.

yes! I have already tried!

i think need 533> 800 pinmod

Mother of cedarmill... :o you are the overclockest man on Earth! :) Please upload some photos :) What VMch do you use?

I used to do Celly 347 533-->800 fsb pinmod, and do VID mod too. The result was that I managed to run Celly 347 on Biostar TPower I45, which was a P45 chipset.

That was how I did: http://www.miivion.com/data/attachment/forum/201302/10/013727wex2yrf31qqxwfox.png.

I think you already know VID mod, right?

Photos and video will be in the next time, bro... one man, many things.

Vmch was 1.29V~1.31V for no reason, I just like that. :P

THX, man :)

If you have a D0 Cedar Mill chip, which can run Pi 1M at 5.2GHz+ @ Vcore 1.45V on air...

Then congrats man, You get your golden Celly! This chip can do more than 8.0GHz by proper tuning.

i just can say really good . vcore ? can u give a photo of mobo and mods ? :D

Vcore 2.095V, just like what I said above.

What mods do you need?

i do bsel mod 533 to 800, but p5q3 and blackops don't start!

i think it need vid mod.....but i'm not sure

can you post bsel mod 533 to 800, too? thanks

Wytiwx was using P5E64 WS EVO (or his P5E3 Premium (X48), wchich are ~the same mobos). I was able to start my Cedar Mill 533 FSB processors (on P5E3 Premium) without any problems, without any mods. P5Q3 is a P45 mobo and you should do mods. Maybe do VID mod, it should help you. But if doesn't start on 200 @default, it can be a poor sample.. Why? my example: I have ~6 celeron D 352 with fsb wall on 200 MHz (malay L64x). On ~196-198 it works stable even on AIR, but no way to start it @200 MHz. But when I put Single Stage cooling, this wall changes to 215-220 MHz (5.1-5.2 GHz = poor clocking sample). So, there is an answer: I think, that a good sample should do 4.8 GHz on air. If is it doing 200x24 (or other multi, depends on CPU model), Without voltage change, then you have a very nice one :) If doesn't start on 200 FSB and ~1.4 V, it's crap.

did you have picture of bsel mod 533 to 800??

I was doing this project, but now not need. Here's my thread on polish forum:

http://overclock.pl/forum/threads/9126-Bsel-mod-533-800/page2

I was doing it wrong way. I can explain this.

You (as above photo) did it using good idea. I have done this also:

http://overclock.pl/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1962&d=1393874674&thumb=1

But the point is to INSULATE these connections from processor. The connection should be done on LGA775 board pins, not on processor. Do not connect any pins on CPU. Must be any insulation.

Here it is a picture, maybe better than text explain:

bselmodinsulationtkfv9.png

sagt:

so i must to insulate the pins in my picture, and after i apply paint for make 1 circuit? thanks man:D

sagt:

The best way is to not using connective paint. Use Aluminium foil insteed. Good way is to use two-side sticky tape and small pieces of aluminium on it. Tape is insulation. If you do this properly, it should work. You can do VID mod using connective paint, but not with bsel mod.

sagt:

Wrong order. First insulation on CPU pins. Second: metal connecting LGA775 ON MOTHERBOARD.

The point is to cheat a motherboard, NOT a CPU!
