They are most definitely better in N vs the gimped dumpster fire that is the 590 :)

Getting SLI to work with them this gen however has not been possible for me , even though they work in W7 together flawlessly.

Yeah sli in general is a mess. Never tried it in XP but can imagine. I tried for many hours to get 3090s to activate sli on z690 only to find out later that sli key had not yet been implemented in bios :)
