Depends on the board. Crosshair VI Hero, for example, supports Bristol Ridge in all bioses.
If you leave Performance Boost to "enabled", then the boost multiplier (x36 in this case) can be used.
Could not find a way to overcome that limit on "E" chip, but the same model without "E" has the multiplier unlocked above max boost multi.
