Vantage uses maximum of 16 threads on the cpu test , hence why you need to disable HT on big chips HCC because if you have HT it will score lower on the cpu test due to running 36 threads on my case 9980xe , best efficiency is 16 threads , desktop cpus need HT On to reach 16 threads the maximum vantage uses on the cpu test. I hope this helps you understand how Vantage bench scores :) , remember never use more than 16 threads or cores !
