Board or chip-limited on the FSB?
Sounds more like cooling limited to me tbh... thats really strong for Single Stage.
I need to try other cip but all other can not boot 5.4Ghz.
CPU is very good can do 1024 Wprime under 1.8V. next days try on DFI p45 for max FSB and maybe rebench Wprime to find limit CPU on signle stage. I do no find lowest voltage for test i only set in bios 1.78 and go i thin 5.6Ghz 32m can do under 1.7V
Nice one, definitely need to get this chip colder!
Not bad chip, effi is decent as well. One of my better chips did 5625MHz 32M @1.625V (or something). I still need to finish binning them properly...
Core doesn't really matter on E8400 - pretty much all of these are limited by FSB when going colder.
