HWBOT OC Challenge January 2012 - 3DMark06

Yes, yes, we know ... this month's HWBOT OC Challenge came a little late, which means less time for you to get a score and compete. We're sorry and we want to make it up to you. How? With an easy challenge. Well ... easy if you're good with tactics.

What's the challenge of this month: run 3DMark06 with 1, 2, 3, 4 and a 6 core configuration. Just like last month, the point scoring is a little bit different. This time 'round, it's not lucky number four that gets the highest prize, but "the best", "the best of the rest" as well as "the best of those that are way behind". To make it more clear, here's the point distribution for each stage:

• # 1 - 10 points
• # 2 - 8 points
• # 3 - 6 points
• # 4 - 4 points
• # 5 - 2 points
• # 6 - 10 points
• # 7 - 8 points
• # 8 - 6 points
• # 9 - 4 points
• # 10 - 2 points
• # 11 - 10 points
• # 12 (and lower) - 0 points
