Welcome to the HWBOT Team Cup 2020. With twelve subcategory contests, featuring a whopping total of 36 unique stages, this is without doubt the biggest, most exciting team overclocking contest on the planet.
Running from 15th of July till 31st of September, the HWBOT Team Cup will once again pit the world’s best overclocking teams against each other in an effort to answer one massive question - which group of overclockers represents the most talented, best organized and dedicated overclocking team of the year? The contest spans virtually all hardware classes with a comprehensive mix of 2D, 3D, mobile and retro stages to compete in. A place in overclocking folklore awaits the winners.

it is possible to use a single 9800gx2 for this benchmark ?
If it is for DDR2, nope, needs to be 2 physical cards with one core per card
But no 8800GTS, 9800 GTX/+ or GTS 250? Thats G92 Cores
Only use videocards based on the G80, G92 core.
GTS 250 is G92 Core, the same for 8800GTS 512MB and 9800GTX and 9800GTX+ thats all G92 Core.
So you can use identical named cards them Frank in sli
No Albrecht, i cant upload a score max G92 was 8800GT 1024MB
250 and gtx 9800 are G92b. 8800 gtx 512 is g92 400...
Ah okay
Can you disable cores for the DDR4 catagory??? If not you are stuck running only Dual Card configs - GTX-295/590/690/Ect.Ect. No 4-way 480/580/680/780/980/Ect.Ect
M9A should do 4 way
M9A will not do 4way with 4 discrete NV GPUs, but there are boards that can: Gigabyte Z170 SOC Force, EVGA Z170 Classsified and Asus WS.
Either way you'd want to use dual cards, there's obviously an effi advantage to them over discrete cards
So This is another Bench that is limited to Elite's Only. There is no SOC/Classified on E-Bay and any other MB's are below avg OCers. Their are many of us that now have a x99/x299 setup and 4x GTX-480/580 are cheap. They may not be the top OCers but at-least we can still participate ?. The Other 80%+ DDR4 Benches are Limited to AMD's CPU/GPU Only ?
so get a 7740x? GTX590 retails at 70 euros, 690 around 95 euros here on 2nd market places
I have no clue why you state DDR4 is 80% AMD... quick sum up:
3D06: Intel CPU
X265: AMD CPU
3D99: Intel CPU
Mem freq: most will go Intel
Uni: AMD APU
Superpi32: Intel CPU
3D03: AMD Vega family card
GPUPI: AMD/Intel
Superpo8K: Intel CPU & prolly most will go nVIDIA GPUs
Wprime: AMD CPU
Are Xeons allowed in general anywhere that they meet the requirements, or is it only where explicitly stated?
For example, a quad core Xeon for 3D06 DDR4, hex-core Xeon for 3D03 DDR3, etc.
Xeons allowed only where explicitly stated
Damn, I thought I had figured out the cheap/easy way to do that 4-way SLI. ?
Use 2 videocard(s). with or without (s), so I think that is possible to use a single videocard with 2 gpu core ?
negative on that, the rules for DDR2 state:
Your market is better than mine, 9800gx2 and gtx295 is $70+, 590 and 690 are $150+, and titan z is still like $400+ as you'd expect. Amd dual cards are way more reasonably priced. Any way we can open this up to all cards as there are basically 5 total nvidia cards that can run 4 way sli on a 7700k on good boards.
You can buy a mobo with a plx chip, but it's costs almost as much as getting two dual core nvidia cards so no reason to sacrifice the memory speed.
Most stages have some kind of sub, so this having none says a lot about how niche the hw is of how few people own anything viable
well when setting up some made the comments the 3D stages were too easy and all doable with just a few cards So I added extra hardware specifics. No further remarks/opinions before we went live (besides the nforce board limitation, so we added some more nForce chipsets).
Nothing is undoable… you need to get the team to sort out things, if the hardware is unavailable in your region, someone else might get it cheaper and get the score(s) done. Again you don't loose a Team Cup based on one stage where you miss one or two scores. People are way too focused on always getting the best gear.
If you feel this way then you should consider a new hobby.
Remind me again why you just sit in this forum and troll when you aren't part of the hobby anymore?
