Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I got this video processing package and it would not install on my machine with Windows XP on it. I'm fond of the machine because I do all my audio music management on it - iTunes, CD Cassette, and Vinyl transfers using the hardware on that computer. And when I got a VCR to USB transfer dongle it needed a Dual Core processor in order to run the new video processing software. Research and a little time made this one a whopping success.
Great Processor for the value, ill just recommend it for home use, definitely not for mid-hardcore gaming, if you need a PC that just going be checking emails, documents, music and low graphic games then it would be just perfect for you i just build it for a home office and runs awesome, but if you think that you're going to use it for more than that them ill would suggest you a Core 2 Duo or a Core 2 Quad.
it was easy to install and works great. this processor is very power efficient compared to the power hungry P4 prescott 630 3Ghz i previously used. it makes multitasking a lot more faster. no problems with it so far.

Great CPU power & punch at a very reasonable price. I've built [8] custom towers in the last two years using this CPU. This particular CPU comes with a heat sink fan & a sticker for your PC case (if that matters to you - if not, buy just the cpu - it will save you a few dollars). I haven't found a better CPU for the price that will outperform this one on a LGA775 (800Mhz FSB) mobo. The only negative thing I would say is that I wish it had more L2 cache (4M or 6M would be awesome - but I've tried other CPU's that had more L2 cache but a slower speed and this one outperformed them all) so I highly recommend it for the aforementioned mobo specs. I have an old socket 775 motherboard, (DFI DKP35T2RS)left since I've moved on to the newer sockets. However I picked up an e5800 for a good price and it's been fun to put life back into the old computer. It's about the same as running a core2duo like an e8500, but it actually runs cooler because there's less cache to heat up. But 1mb cache per core is pretty good, even today. It's easy to get this CPU to over 4ghz. It has a clock multiplier of 16x. Some people run this CPU at 5ghz. It's a fun CPU to play with on 775 since the multi is so high. I am not that aggressive, but at 4.2ghz/1.4v (and a little bump to VTT voltage) I have a very quick older PC. It's a great extra dual-core game box that runs COD Black Ops and Source games smoothly.
