TLDR:
Build the most powerful GP106 GTX 1060 you can make. GP104, GDDR5X, and secret/NDA hardware are not allowed. For each score you produce, please include:

  • one picture of the GPU core + PCB,
  • one picture of the VRAM,
  • one HWBOT standard benchmark score screenshot.
  • one picture of your setup if you participate in the ambient only stage.

Stages:

  1. Superposition 1080p Extreme (LOD allowed)
  2. Port Royal RT
  3. GPU Pi 3.2 32B

    General:

    1. Standard HWBOT competition rules apply unless otherwise stated.
    2. No cooling limits for the subambient stage. For the ambient stage, you may not use any cooling methods that would land you into the Apprentice/Extreme/Elite league.
    3. No OS limits.
    4. Server/workstation/prosumer/sponsored CPU, motherboard, and memory are allowed.
    5. Thermetery and HWBOT staff may ask for more proof:
      • teardown photos,
      • GPU-Z,
      • logs,
      • BIOS dumps,
      • video,
      • extra hardware photos.

        Prizes — Subambient

        1st: A binned Titan Xp core on an ASUS GTX 1080 Ti Strix board + Trophy

        2nd: A binned Titan Xp (no core swap) + Trophy

        1st: The subambient champions’s Strix 1080 Ti core, on the freed Titan Xp board + trophy
