Rookie Rumble AMD #15

Welcome to the Rookie Rumble! We assume you arrived here via as an AMD fan and that’s great but the OC world offers more. The Rumble introduces you to competitive overclocking. It’s a contest only for new overclockers like you. Good luck!

There are three stages, each with the same hardware restrictions but featuring a different benchmark. The benchmarks are: CPU % OC, HWBOT Prime, and GPUPI for CPU - 100M. You can gather points by submitting in each of the three stages. The better the result, the more points you acquire and the higher you'll rank overall! Note that the validation process for the benchmarks is slightly different. Check out the rules section to learn more or drop us a message on our forums if you have a question.

Guys and ladies, plz make sure your screenshots are correct, thus including the required CPU-Z CPU and CPU-Z Memory tabs.

Also for HWBOT prime, due to the RTC bug, no Windows 8 or later is allowed.

Plz read the rules before submitting, keep on pushing it!

Ola, então não posso valida nenhum teste com W8...?

May 15, 2015 at 2:16:54 PM GMT

lots of hwbot prime marks w8 o later..

May 16, 2015 at 10:15:18 AM GMT

Olá é permitido participar com mais de um CPU no mesmo teste...?

Seria meio injusto .....!!!

Most are cleaned up, if any suspicious or incorrect scores are left plz report them.

Keep on benching hard!

Redid my Prime scores on XP now. Too bad i can't push the little A4-4000 much because the system isn't supposed for overclocking..

Hi, I'm not understanding the XTU verification for stage 1.

When i try to install it, an error said my hardware is not compatible.

I can't find the AMD version.

Anyone can help me ? :)

@Niuuhl,

It's easy. The rules are mixed up with the other competition. Stage 1 here is a CPU-Z validation. Not XTU (what is written in the rules)

Ok, thanks for explanation :)

May 27, 2015 at 2:00:41 AM GMT

May 27, 2015 at 1:03:21 PM GMT

Is that allowed to change settings: "batch size" and "reduction size" in gpupi ?

Can we not use different CPUs? And why where some of my submissions removed with out me being notified?

Link to the scores removed.

The cpuz validation was removed because you didn't match the username.

Looks like many people made this mistake. Reported some more CPU-Z scores..

For clarification, when u click on Validation. You can choose a name to fill in, this must be your hwbot username in order to have a valid submission.

just wanna let you guys know if you use OPENCL 1.1 or 1.2 instead of 2.0 you gpupi time its cut in half it should be limited to 2.0 but ok

June 1, 2015 at 11:46:59 AM GMT

GPUPI 2.1 is faster, with Intel Runtime 15.1 for 100M and AMD APP SDK for 1B (in general, try both).

OpenCL version is not criticable, it's GPUPI's one which have to be >=2.1

Any news yet on the final ranking (there still are invalid cpu-z scores included)?
