Rookie Rumble AMD #12
Welcome to the Rookie Rumble! We assume you arrived here via as an AMD fan and that’s great but the OC world offers more. The Rumble introduces you to competitive overclocking. It’s a contest only for new overclockers like you. Good luck!
There are three stages, each with the same hardware restrictions but featuring a different benchmark. The benchmarks are: CPU % OC, HWBOT Prime, and MaxxMem Read Bandwidth. You can gather points by submitting in each of the three stages. The better the result, the more points you acquire and the higher you'll rank overall! Note that the validation process for the benchmarks is slightly different. Check out the rules section to learn more or drop us a message on our forums if you have a question.

doing my Best to keep up with you guys
when will come the results of the lucky draw?
We will do the drawing and news announcement next week
well I can say for me At least im on Air Cooling and I kept up with others with AIO
just think what I can achieve if I got an AIO
Crossing Fingers
If you had shut down some cores in stage 1 you would have won it all.
IM lost lol
To elaborate a little, when you bench for CPU frequency, generally if you shut down all the cores on a multi cored CPU except for one or two, it generates less heat allowing you a little more headroom for voltage and thus a little more overclocking (more speed). You probably could have won stage 1 and thus won the whole shooting match.
You did well on just air BTW.
I don't see where they pick the winners yet I looked on the news
Here's the announcement:
http://oc-esports.io/#!/article/2819/rookie_rumble_15_concludes_the_baron_makes_his_mark
ok I still don't see the one for the Rookie Rumble AMD #12
Oh, yeah didn't clarify that, sorry. Revolution996 is for the Rumble #15 and Teleloco for the AMD #12.
ok im lost looking at Rules and looking @ Teleloco did not complete all stages
To apply for the lucky draw you must make a submission in each of the competition stages before the end of the competition.
Raven have reason, if he didn't complete all benchs he was not supposed to participate in the draw!
And where are the Rookie Rumble AMD#12 New's?
something isn't adding up rules have been broken , you have people here trying there hardest to do what they need to do , for myself I do it for fun but I would love to get an AIO , so if this is being allowed I think we all should bring this to HWBOTS attention
yes, something is wrong here, intel's competition are much more regulated by the moderators...
Well then they should show the Same for the AMD base PCs also ,its a shame that no ones paying attention to this
Give 'em a chance guys.
Big job, few moderators.
Bah... RavenWings1369 deserves more the CM Seidon, she has a Air Cooling... and complete all.
I understand what your saying but this is very Unacceptable for a Moderator to do , this shows that he/she wasn't doing his/her job, this isn't fair for the people that did all 3 submissions also as Roony Said where are the Rookie Rumble AMD#12 New's? that's not even posted , he had plenty of time to respond to this and fix this , therefore I think this needs to be taken to higher Moderator or Site Admin so this can be Rectify ASAP , SO how many AMD Competitions were at rick , and yes im upset as I can only afford AMD and I don't think it fair
I can understand the upsetness.
Patience.
Moderators here are voluntary. They do this on their own time because they like it. The staff here are good guys for the most part (except Massman
).
I'm sure it will get taken care of.
guys please, as Mr.Scott explained the mods will get this sorted and you just have to be patient. They are not superhuman and they will make mistakes from time to time just like anybody else. Giving them hassle doesn't really solve anything.
I see what the problem is. Teleloco did in fact submit in all three stages, but one of his submissions was blocked or deleted. That's why you can't see the third one in the ranking.
To do the lucky draw, we run a query on our database to find all users who submitted in the three stages. The deleted submission is still linked to the competition stage, hence why Teleloco shows up in the list.
Well then that should be in the Rules that all Submissions should be shown and not be delete or blocked so this will not happen again ,or if this does happen and it shows up on OC eSports not completed then they shouldn't been in the lucky draw giveaway , this has cause problems at least for me but I understand what you saying no Submission should be blocked or deleted so they will show up
That sounds reasonable. I've amended the lucky draw requirements for the ongoing Rookie Rumbles to: "To apply for the lucky draw you must make a valid submission in each of the competition stages before the end of the competition."
