G.SKILL OC World Cup 2017 Qualifier

G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world’s leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is announcing the online qualifier competition of its biggest annual overclocking competition G.SKILL OC World Cup 2017
G.SKILL OC World Cup overclocking competition consists of 3 rounds: Online Qualifier, Live Qualifier, and Grand Finals. The top 6 contestants from the Online Qualifier are invited to the Live Qualifier, as well as the chance to qualify for the Grand Final round, in the G.SKILL booth at Computex 2017 from May 30 to June 2. The top 2 finishers from the Live Qualifier round will compete head-to-head for the grand prize. The Online Qualifier round will be held March 17 to April 18, 2017.

GENERAL COMPETITION RULES
- HWBOT and G.SKILL reserve the right to reject any entry
- Employees of MB/VGA/MEM/CPU/PSU manufacturers are not allowed to compete
- No hardware sharing is allowed
- It is not allowed to remove submissions once it has been submitted
- After the end of the competition, no more submissions or rectifications will be allowed
- All submissions must include a picture of their rig (MB, VGA, MEM, CPU cooler) during use
- All submissions must include a picture of G.SKILL memory with heatsink and serial number; If the heatsink is removed, the picture must clearly show the PCB and IC
- We expect fair play from everyone. HWBOT and G.SKILL reserve the right to remove results and/or participants who compete unfairly; The decision is final and will not be discussed afterwards; Examples of unacceptable behavior: Influence others’ submissions to profit your ranking, Deliberately make a mistake in the submissions process and ask later for change
- All submissions must include the official OC World Cup 2017 desktop wallpaper, available here: click
HARDWARE
- Must use commercially/retail available components. ES is not allowed.
- Must use Intel Core i3-7350K processors
- Must use G.SKILL DDR4 memory
STAGES
Stage 1: DDR4 Frequency

- Screenshot must include CPU-Z CPU, MB, MEM, SPD tab within 1% of validated frequency (e.g. DDR4-4000 requires DDR4-3960)
Stage 2: Geekbench 3 Multi Core

- Screenshot must include CPUZ CPU, motherboard, memory and spd tab as well as launch app and result tab.
Stage 3: 3D11-P v1.0.132 IGP
- Screenshot must include CPU-Z CPU, MB, MEM, SPD tab; and GPU-Z main and IGP frequency tab.

FINAL NOTES
- In case of same score, the first submission wins.
- DDR4 Frequency is the tie-breaker.
- Each Live Qualifier contestant has 2 slots with 3.5 hours each for the Live Qualifier. Higher ranked Online Qualifier contestants have priority for selecting 1 slot. The second slot will be a lucky draw. The top-6 of online qualifier will receive an entry ticket to compete for the $16,200 USD cash prize pool in the live contest. Participants must arrange their own transportation and accomodation. In case that any of the top-6 qualified overclockers cannot attend the Live Qualifier, their spot will be made available to subsequent runner-ups of the Online Qualifier.
