G.SKILL OC World Cup 2015 Qualifier

G.SKILL International Enterprises Co., Ltd., the world’s leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and solid state storage, proudly announces the 2nd annual "OC World Cup 2015" overclocking competition!

This year G.SKILL is raising the total cash prize to a staggering $16,200 USD! Following the tradition of the event, the Champion of the OC World Cup 2015 will receive a cash prize of $10,000 USD. Online qualifiers will be held from 9th March to 13th April 2015, featuring 3 benchmarks: SuperPI 32M, MaxxMem Read Bandwidth, and 3DMark Fire Strike Physics on specified hardware. The top 6 online qualifier contestants will be eligible to attend the OC World Cup 2015 Live Qualifiers at Computex 2015!

Stages

General Competition Rules

  • HWBOT and GSKILL reserve the right to reject any entry.
  • Employees of MB / VGA / Memory / CPU / PSU manufacturers are not allowed to compete
  • No hardware sharing is allowed
  • It is not allowed to remove submissions once it has been submitted
  • After the end of the competition no more submissions or rectifications will be allowed.
  • All submissions must include a picture of their rig (MB, VGA, memory, CPU cooler) during use).
  • All submissions must include a picture of G.SKILL memory with heastsink and serial number. If the heatsink is removed, the picture must clearly show the PCB and IC.
  • We expect fair play from everyone for those competitions. HWBOT and GSKILL reserve the right to remove results and/or participants who compete unfairly. The decision is final and will not be discussed afterwards. Examples of unacceptable behavior:
    • Influence others submissions to profit your ranking
    • Deliberately make a mistake in the submissions process and ask later for change
  • All submissions must include the official OC World Cup 2015 desktop wallpaper. Available here:


Hardware

  • Must use commercially / retail available components. ES not allowed
  • Participants must use the Intel Pentium G3240 CPU
  • Participants must use G.SKILL memory.


Stages

Stage 1: SuperPI 32M

  • Must provide verification screenshot including SuperPI result, CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD information

Stage 2: MaxxMem Read Bandwidth

  • Must provide verification screenshot including MaxxMem Read Bandwidth result, CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD information

Stage 3: 3DMark Fire Strike Physics 1.4.780

  • Must provide verification screenshot including 3DMark score window, CPU, Motherboard, Memory, and SPD information.
  • Compare link required.
  • System Info 4.34 installed and enabled.


Addition notes

  • In case of same score, the first submission wins.
  • In case of a tie the deciding benchmark will be SuperPI 32M.
  • Higher ranked Online Qualifier winners have priority for selecting Live Qualifier time slots.
  • The top-6 of online qualifier will receive an entry ticket to compete for the $16,200 USD cash prize pool in the live contest at Computex 2015. Participants must arrange their own transportation and accomodation. Important: In the case that any of the top-6 qualified overclockers cannot attend the Live Qualifier at Computex 2015, their spot will be made available to subsequent runner-ups of the Online Qualifier (e.g. 7th, 8th, 9th, etc. places).

have no idea if this is good or not, but this is with no driver installed for vga since it is not DX11 and it works.

Only older version of 3dmark is allowed.. new one isn't.

 

Also any time measurement errors in Win 7 or any other Win version will not be allowed.

1.4.825 is just a new gui version. all the benchmark versions are the same, and it scores the same. Please, 1.4.780 i cannot find and download it..

also remember to update to 1.4.780 3dmark guys. I know its written only one place so easy to miss. older versions like 1.3.xx gives a big boost. Like hazzans score,

just watch before you miss out on a good run!

 

pre (1.4.780) versions that dont have cloud gate / sling shot wont have timestep in the valid.

roman we talk tomorrow about your problem, some of the other scores are showing wrong cpu.
