You have to remember that this event is organized by Asus Russia and Asus Ukraine, local one. It's great that Asus gave budget to extend it for whole Europe. It's a big progress! I hope that next year there will be a global Asus contest like MOA But the great information is that when other vendors cut budget/cancel events, Asus goes the opposite way

I really like this rule about no girlfriends. It was what few ocers told a lot of times. Such events are the greatest thing for ocers, greatest reward and bonus from their hobby/passion, and it hurt eyes when some ocers took girlfriends for MOA/GOOC, which were not interested in OC and wanted to end it as fast as it's possible and start sight seeing the city or go to a club to dance. For girls such events were only a trip to exotic place and live OC contest was an unpleasant duty/price which they had to pay to have some fun in foreign country... It's much more better to take to a team other ocer, even not the best, but ocer (for whom it would be a great fun) who can help the other ocer. Different ideas, two heads are not a one head

if in idea of my team, I'm overclocking and second person is only for ln2 and feeling pots, so he/she is a overclocker or not? Even if he/she don't know that much as I and never touch keyboard and mouse? When Chaos was with me and he didn't do more than Borko/Joanna it was ok, but if it's a women, you are mad. And even, Chaos was a "extreme overclocker" only becouse I was taking him with me - usually he would never do things as he did with me. It's not my problem, that you need two persons in team to make the same things what I'm doing alone. And if Asus is showing bias against relations between two persons without any special arguments it's really pathetic - this behavior is almost like a racism

The intention of this rule is to bring real overclockers with you and not some random tourist.

If there is a realy overclocker-girl I'm 100% sure that she'll be very welcome!

Firstly, you need to qualify and sorry, but Joanna is not an overclocker. Why? - she has never done any result ALONE, doesn't have hwbot account and so on, doesn't create OC topics and so on. The ability of pouring LN2 into pots doesn't mean that she is an overclocker.

Guys, thank you for your interest for AOOC 2013. I happy that some people from other regions asked about chance for participate. And i can say, if i was same situation, i did and asked about this too. But please understand me, that not will correct if somebody will pay for tickets and something else. This event organized by ASUS and if ASUS did this event for Europe, members must be from Europe.

If somebody want a visit this event, i will help you with best flight tickets, accomadition, invitation letters and with all.

2. About girlfriends:

ASUS organized this event for overclockers teams, which consists of 2 overclockers. If ASUS would like to see personal overclocker skill, this event will be for 1 overclocker in 1 team, like GOOC 2010, where every overclocker showed your personal skills.

If you dont have teammate for qualifier, but want to join:

1. You can qualifier alone. If need "LN2 helper", ASUS will provide you man, who will help you with LN2.

2. You can qualifier alone, but take with your "own LN2 helper", but ASUS not will cover costs on tickets and accommodation.

3. About teammates from 1 same country:

This mean that overclockers must qualifier together on AOOC 2013. You cant bench alone and invite your friend from other country. But if you have teammate from other country and usually they bench together, why not? I dont know many members with same situations, but i think situation like this must be open for participate:

1. Sam (borned in Russia, has a Latvian citizenship and living in Netherlands). I think he can qualifier with people, who can bench together with him.

2. Pt1t & pepinorang. They benched together, so they can qualifier together too.

Yes you are right, I don't know what people like Joanna are doing at home and I don't care about it, cause everyone should have his owny privacy. But HWBOT account was an example, there are many other things which define overclocker. I simply don't believe (and I guess nobody does) that she is overclocking privately at home, actively and so on

So once again you will have problems with this I will have women in my team. Operating with LN2 into pots is a part of overclocking and who was at MOA 2012 in Taipei could see that Joanna was doing it without my help with two pots for 7 hours. She know what is overclocking and how to make it. And if some one have problems that I had actress and playboy model once with me - it's your problem that you can't have a nice women in your life.

Two massive fails by my favorite computing company with this. First, in excluding the US from at least running it's own version if excluded worldwide participation. Second, for alienating half of their users by not giving AMD and Intel CPU's their own divisions. It's fine if YOU don't like AMD as a consumer- but if you are going to base half your lineup around their chips, accommodation should be given to those who purchase them from you.

I don't know who made the final call on this one, but it still is a fail by Asus for not having the person in place who is competent enough to argue the business case. The company is free to do whatever it wants, but I'm just letting them know as a consumer, my reaction is certainly helping the business case for why it might be a bad idea to exclude a huge group of users who are very brand loyal to you at this point. The "private businesses can do whatever they think makes the best business sense"" is exactly right, but so is the connected idea that "but if it upsets their target market, they won't be able to afford to keep doing it that way very long".

@ Stavros: 6805 is absolute maximum for 1M so 32M is not that far. Maybe I can push another 20-30 MHz but not more.

Here's my 3D so far. No vMem mod done and had issues with the memory when card was cold. Will try again tomorrow to see whether it can do more if it's modded.

I am not sure about power limit, but this BIOS working is very well. Can you try this one?

We poured ln2 on the card, but that was already risky. No volt mods allowed though, so we couldn't do too much damage either way.

Ok, on our first titan, we try to put LN2 without mod. With cold, boost stay @max, but Vgpu start @1.17v and drop at 1.02v few seconde after .

I have to made "GPU shutdows and slowdown" mod to keep full Vgpu under cold. Titan is realy powerfull, but it need a lot of Vmod.

On your card, no throttle or Vgpu drop under cold ?

This sandbagging game is actually pretty retarded. Hope that one day the HWBot server just crashes 2 hour before the competition ends to stop this.

Sandbagging is not good for viewers, but creates suspense Personally I don't like it.

But such comments as server should crash and so on are inappropriate why? - reason is simple, many guys bench until LAST MINUTES. I know it from my experience, for instance Country Cup or some other HWBOT contests, I sometimes I get scores 10-20 minutes before the deadline and publish them as fast as I can. Ok, on our first titan, we try to put LN2 without mod. With cold, boost stay @max, but Vgpu start @1.17v and drop at 1.02v few seconde after .

I have to made "GPU shutdows and slowdown" mod to keep full Vgpu under cold. Titan is realy powerfull, but it need a lot of Vmod.

On your card, no throttle or Vgpu drop under cold ?

futuremark fixed and i uploaded the right file on futuremark ORB, this is the link:

you can see there that I used a regular allowed hardware

cannot modificate in hwbot because the system dosen't allow to edit a score for an ended competition.

I have lot of other screen wich can demonstrate i benched with a regular system showing the scaling of the score.

I'm not a lawyer, and I never meet/speak with giorgioprimo, but....

During AOOC, 3or4 time, and without any hard/soft modification, the monitoring data failed. Why ? I don't know, but score was "normal", no boost and no loss...

So It's a software problem, not a cheat or something like that.

And if you delete his submition, he lost 42pt -> so 30pt remain with 32M and 2011.. He just need to be on top11 or 12 to go to moscow, so 3 or 13pt...

Seriously, he show us almost 14k, so we can assume he made 12k to have 13pt...

For me is clear. So, i tested ASUS GTX670M on default settings and got No visible data too. I didnt any special for it, so for me is software 3DMark problem. giorgiopromo`s result left without changes.

Also, when you will prepare documents for VISA, be careful. You must remember that correct country name is Russia, not Rusia. ASUS not will help with VISA in Rusia, because i don't know nothing about this country.

There was anything in rules that you need have account at HWbot for xxx time and you need to be well know? No. So don't see the point to write here anything.

I can explain why. 5 years ago this guys benched on air-water, no ln2. They benched all that they has. It never was a top hardware, they never has support, Kazakhstan never has support. But 2 years ago they got gift from Russia, it was LN2 pot. They started benched on LN2, after few months they bought new pots: CPU and VGA pots from Vince. For AOOC 2012 they qualified is clearly, TerraRaptor showed good experience and skills in SPi 32M. Now they started benched top hardware and VGA with LN2. They showed is good growth. We must give a chance.

Who knows, maybe it will new overclocking stars like rbuass or Splave... Why not

Don't try to make your rules here because it's ASUS (not slamms) who is the only one to interpret ambiguous things dedicated to AOOC 2013. In the way THEY want. Respect sponsor and the community.

Rules are rules. Overclocker is overclocker. There is no official definition of "overclocker" in a dictionary, but regarding the fact it's HWBOT I would create one:

"A person who pushes hardware to the limits using non conventional ways of cooling ( for instance: Single stage/Cascade/DI, LN2, LHE) and make results public (in rankings or computer forums)"

Meis is not an overclocker, I didn't see results by him on polish forums or foreign (like XS), no rankings (HWBOT), didn't hear about him earlier. So in my opinion Asus will follow rules, if he won't pay for his ticket/accommodation. But to be fully honest - ryba should be allowed to change a teammate for real overclocker from Poland (if he wants).

I though it's a team contest and MOA is a single OCer battle. In this case I'm doing the same things like Chaos was doing, but you think that if there would be Chaos in this team not me - it would be better because he deserve to be in AOOC.

The same thing is with TM3K and Qjak. They had a high place ever on AOOC/GOOC/MOA?

I warned, that today is last day, when winners must provide information. We can`t wait anymore. I think was too much time (2 weeks) for filling information.

In this post i informed OC community, that if Ryba not will provide information today, he will be disqualified.

Interesting approach for the benchmark, very interested to see how it'll work out!

And i try to explain calculation system more clearly:

Each team can submit scores in Super Pi 32M and CPU-Z. Result with max points will go in personal rank.

For example,

One team did 1st score in CPU-Z with 25 pts and 1st score in Super Pi 32M with 35 pts. Team got 35 pts in personal rank.

Other team did 2nd score in CPU-Z with 23 pts and 5th score in Super Pi 32M with 22 pts. Second team got 23 pts.

The benchmark poitn systeme is quite interesting so not only the best cpu will win, but if you have not-best cpu but you are a good tweaker you will definetly have chances.

Well organized Comp is in october and the rules + bench poitns are already there (wink to some other comp )
