Initial reports on the front of Sandy Bridge overclocking stated that the highest DRAM multiplier was going to be DDR3-2133. Given the poor BCLK overclocking capabilities, which would render the purchase of high frequency memory kits pointless.

On the Coolaler forums, however, we found out that there's a DRAM multiplier that allows end-users to set the memory to DDR3-2400. We're not entirely sure whether or not there are even higher multipliers.
