In Week 51 of 2016, we received 3667 benchmark results from 992 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 59% of the active community. They were responsible for 36% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

In a week in which we saw Marc0053 crowned HWBOT 2016 World Champion in Berlin and Lucky_n00b win the GALAX OC Carnival 2016 in Wuhan, plenty of overclocking action went down online. Dancop from Germany, third in GOC 2016, scored a new Global First Place during day 2 of the event. His Core i7 6700K clocked up to 6535 MHz in XTU, resulting in a score of 2249 marks. He beat is own Global First Place, so retains the points associated with the submission. In the Hardware Rankings we find two overclockers from Romania. Poparamiro grabs a golden cup in the 3DMark06 GeForce 7900 GT leaderboard. He has the graphics card clocked up to 918/1040MHz and paired it with a Core i7 4770K Haswell based processor. Nachtfalke also scored top spot in a 3D benchmark. His GeForce GTX 470 clocked up to 1220/1065MHz at -108 degrees centigrade, resulting in a score of 35620 in 3DMark Vantage. The overclocking results submitted during Week 51 generated in total 85 World Record Points, 3937.4 Global Points, and 7179.8 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 15% for Elite, 32% for Extreme, 23% for Apprentice, 17% for Enthusiast, 8% for Novice, and 28% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 2% Elite, 9% Extreme, 4% Apprentice, 15% Enthusiast, 11% Novice, and 59% Rookie.
