Broadwell-E Extreme Overclocking Guide: ASUS Rampage V Edition 10

Yesterday Intel finally launched Broadwell-E, giving all overclockers competing at the World Series Asia event the chance to get hands on with what is doubtlessly Intel’s best performing Extreme Edition processor yet. With a new processor platform comes new knowledge, new challenges and plenty of new things to learn. With that in mind, we bring you a guide to extreme overclocking with Broadwell-E penned by the OC Team at ASUS which includes Shamino, coolice and Elmor. The guide has been formulated specifically for overclocking on the ASUS RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 motherboard.

The guide from ASUS covers everything you would need to know about from an overclockers perspective, including expectations on ambient cooling and LN2 in terms of clock speeds and voltages, DRAM channel rankings and a whole series of benchmark pointers and general advice.

No doubt we will see more guides arrive on the scene in the coming days and weeks, details of which we will cover as they appear. The ASUS OC Team have done an excellent job however of laying down a solid foundation for anyone who wants to quickly come to terms with this new platform.

You can find the Broadwell E CO guide as posted by Elmor here on the HWBOT forum.
