ROG OC Showdown Extreme Series Round 3 Set to Kick Off on Jan 22

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the third and final stage of OC Showdown Extreme series, the global overclocking competition that invites hardcore overclockers to employ subzero-cooling apparatus to attain the most extreme results.

In co-operation with HWBOT.org, and competition partners Intel®, G.Skill, Enermax, Extreme Cooling Components (8ECC) and Thermal Grizzly, ROG now invites subzero fanatics to prepare and submit their entries for the concluding stage of the OC Showdown Extreme series. This ultimate stage runs from 22nd January to 22nd February 2016.

As previously, Extreme-series entrants compete for kudos and all will have the chance to snare one of many exciting prizes, including ROG Maximus VIII Extreme, Maximus VIII Gene, Maximus VIII Impact gaming motherboards, G.Skill TridentX DDR4 memory, Kryonaut thermal paste from Thermal Grizzly, and Enermax Platimax 1500W power supplies. Prizes will be awarded to those that place in the top three of HWBOT.org’s Elite and Extreme leagues.

A final prize draw will take place to mark the end of the competition, with five exclusive prize packages up for grabs — each containing a ROG OC Showdown T-shirt, Kryonaut thermal paste, and Twister Storm and Twister Pressure fans. This draw is open to everyone, including those not submitting builds to the three OC Showdown Extreme series stages.
