From October 20 until December 1, 2014, we hosted the ASRock 9 Series OC Competition in cooperation with ASRock. The challenge was to push as hard as possible in two different stages: 3DMark01 with the Z97 platform, and 3DMark Fire Strike with the X99 platform. The competition was very tight, especially on the 3DMark01 part, with new records appearing on and off the competition course. At the end of the competition, 8 Pack concluded with a new World Record in 3DMark01 closely followed by Vivi and Smoke finishing second and third in the competition, and in the 3DMark01 Hall Of Fame.

For the World Record 8 Pack uses a Core i7 4770K Haswell clocked at 6652 MHz, Vengeance Pro memory at DDR3-2620 CL9-12-12, and an ASUS GeForce GTX 780 Ti Direct CU II at 1705/2000 MHz. Of course both the CPU and the GPU are cooled with liquid nitrogen. He comments: "Thanks to OCUK,Caseking.de and Asrock, Kingpin on CPU, Der8bauer on GPU. CPU@6700 for Nature,CH,DH,DL rest at 6652, GPU at 1650 for Nature all rest GPU at 1800. Rag it!!", and ragging he did indeed. Congratulations!
