Nvidia Launches GeForce GTX Titan Z: Double GPU, Triple Price

At the Nvidia GPU Technology Conference Nvidia launched their latest graphics card, the GeForce GTX Titan Z. The release of the card follows not long after AMD's recent announcement of their Radeon R9 295X2 project, which is a dual GPU graphics card based on the R9 290X. With 5760 cores at USD $3,000, the Titan Z is an incredibly powerful graphics card mainly targeted at the enterprise and workstation market, although it's marketed as the perfect gaming solution too. According to Nvidia, the Titan Z is engineered for next-generation 5K and multi-monitor gaming.

It seems that the market for high-cost graphics cards is really open now. Who remembers the days when the top graphics card came at a price of around USD $500? I am looking forward to HWBOT Rev6 and hope it will bring the cost of enjoying overclocking down a lot ...
