Gunslinger Breaks WR Pushing 3DMark 11 Performance Top Score Close To 40,000 Mark

At IDF'13 in San Francisco, Intel together with ASUS and Corsair organised another OC Main event. The format changed from an invite-only competition-style event to more of an overclocking exhibition. The goal of the exhibition was to set as many benchmark world records as possible. Several media have already covered the records broken, and we are highlighting the #1 with the highest HWBoints.

Gunslinger, Pro OC overclocker from the USA, is the new record holder for 3DMark11 Performance. He took the record using the new Core i7 4960X clocked at slightly over 5.8 GHz, and of course four GeForce GTX Titan graphics cards at about 1480/1770 MHz. The previous record was held by the now retired Taiwanese overclocker AndreYang. He scored about 2,400 points lower five months ago.
