I tried from 1.85V to 2.05V, results were within 50MHz which is your typical overclocking fluctuation.

Australia Dinos22 says:

no mate its gold plated. Sam, me and a few other guys got a pot from Thermolab back in 2008 i think. I've recently gone back to it and it performs really well on both AMD and Intel

TaPaKaH says:

yes, Dino, the backplate, screws and springs are indeed from the gold plated Thermolab pot I got my own version of. I use that for 462, 478 and AM2.

K404 says:

Just had a look at the video Dinos.... sure, the pot looks great, but the toy car looks more fun

Netherlands diezel says:

congrats Sam! hell of a WR

Russian Federation NeoForce says:

Insane! Grats bro!

Germany Hyperhorn says:

Congrats Sam, that's a fantastic result! I really didn't expect >8.3 GHz to be the next CPU-Z WR, rather 8.25-8.27 GHz. I knew you wouldn't stop before you get the WR, but I'm glad to see all the hard pretesting work, buying/selling and batch hunting worked out for you as it did for the older OC in % WR. ;)
