The OC Show – S03E07: Road Pro, G.SKILL OC World Cup, HWBOT World Series Asia and More…

The latest edition of the OC Show from OverClocking-TV has arrived, with Xyala and Massman once again giving us a thorough run down of pretty much everything that has happened in the world of overclocking in the last few weeks. The show includes a roundup of the Pro OC Cup where Dancop again proves to be a the man to beat, plus there’s the conclusion of the Challenger Divisions on OC-ESPORTS as Round 2 came to a head at the end of June. Divisions I through VII reveal a mix of new and more familiar faces.

To be fair, June was a very busy month for the HWBOT crew as it also included the World Asia event at Computex 2016. The guys take a moment to discuss everything that happened during what must have been one of the busiest weeks of the year. In terms of new technology, Nvidia launched the highly anticipated GTX 1080 cards that feature the new Pascal graphics chips, plus Intel launched it’s Broadwell-E chips including the Core i7 6950X which was used throughout the World Series contest at Computex.

When it came to overclocking contests, June has seen plenty of action. We saw G.SKILL hold their annual OC World Record Stage plus the climax of the OC World Cup live each and every day at the company’s booth at Computex. G.Skill even managed to beat their own fastest DDR4 frequency record during the show, with their new B-die sticks pushing towards a record DDR4-5200MHz. The guys also recall the HWBOT World Series Asia contest that was the centerpiece of the World Tour event, plus news of an Overclocking event held in a shopping mall in Jakarta, Indonesia where some solid extreme and ambient contests were held.
