The initial online qualification round of the 3rd ever G.SKILL World Cup has just come to a close on OC-ESPORTS. Many of the globes most feared, respected and well known extreme overclockers went head to head in a bid to reach the finals where once again G.SKILL are offering fat hardware and cash prizes that include a nice $10,000 USD for the winner. The qualification round just finished up a few days ago with the top six making it to the live four-day finals which will be held at the G.SKILL booth during Computex in Taipei, Taiwan.
The top six that will be heading to Taipei include; Hazzan (Indonesia), Splave (U.S), Alex@ro (Romania), Lucky_n00b (Indonesia), Wizerty (France) and Dancop (Germany). Congrats to you all. Let’s take a peek at the scoring in a little more detail.
The online qualification contest involved these three stages; DDR4 Frequency, 3DMark11 IGP and 3DMark Vantage IGP. All submissions were restricted to Intel Skylake architecture i7, i5 and i3 processors using G.SKILL memory only.
