In two earlier articles we informed you about the HWBOT World Tour 2016 rAge South Africa event details. You can read our official announcement here and check out the competition rules here. In today's article we present you the final list of event partners.
First and foremost, Seasonic is providing the PSUs as they do for each of the World Tour events. Seasonic is our global World Tour partner and is with us until the end of the journey at the World Championship in Berlin at the end of the year. At rAge, we are joined by MSI on the motherboard side. The amateur overclockers will be using the Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon whereas the extreme overclockers will show off their skills on the Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium. The overclocking action is of course not complete with some CPUs, which will be provided by Intel at rAge. The CPU of choice is the Core i7 6700K for both the extreme and amateur overclockers and we even have a couple up for grabs as prize. Make sure to check out the competition rules for more details! Last but not least, the World Tour in South Africa would not have been possible without the help of NAG, the organizer of the rAge events in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
In addition, we are also joined by G.SKILL who supplies the DDR4 Trident Z memory for the amateurs and extreme overclockers. To cool the CPUs in the amateur workshop Corsair is providing a set of All-in-one water coolers which will surely help reach unseen heights of frequency. The last in line of the hardware partners is Streacom which provides a to-be-announced bench table for the workshop (more on that soon!).
The media partners for the event are: OverClocking-TV, TheOverclocker, Tecmundo and Overclock.net. TAITRA, the organization behind Computex, also joins us this event as partner.
We look forward to seeing all the enthusiastic overclockers in South Africa and are keen to find out who will represent the South African flag in the HWBOT World Championship at the end of the year!
