Dinos22 Takes Back XTU World Record and Pushes Australia Up in Country Cup

Dinos22 is an "industry overclocker" from Australia working for GIGABYTE. Dinos22 earned his stripes in the olden days and is one of the oldest most senior members of the competitive overclocking scene. We recently interviewed Dino for the Overclockers in Focus series in which he explains his views on contemporary overclocking. Alongside the Australian Country Cup team, Dinos22 managed the XTU World Record.

For the XTU World Record, Dinos22 utilized an Intel Core i7 5960X processor clocked at 6000 MHz cooled with liquid nitrogen. Paired with the GIGABYTE X99-SOC Champion motherboard, that results in a 100% CPU overclock. The rest of the setup is fairly nondescript although we do find the kit of 16GB DDR4 memory overclocked to DDR4-3006C12-14-15-15. With a score of 3126 marks Dinos22 has a lead of 15 points over Dancop from Germany and 58 points over Wizerty from France.
