Visiting K|ngp|n's Lab, First To Touch the GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition

Although it is weekend today, I still walk around Taipei looking for overclocking stories. Today I walked past K|ngp|n's lab, and although usually the doors would be locked down and barricaded, today The Boss called me in to show of something new. You have probably seen the pictures on the internet already, so the upcoming GTX 780 Ti Kingpin is not big news. But if I'm not mistaken, this was the first time an outsiders has touched and felt the card. It's pretty awesome to see an overclocker get his own line of graphics cards. The first one ever?

Oh by the way, I am probably not allowed to write this, but we saw some interesting numbers on the monitor. Around 8,200 and 16,500 marks if I'm not mistaken. It will be interesting to see how this card pans out against the Classified, Hall of Fame, Lightning, Matrix, SOC, and all the other custom cards.

Kingpin and Tin are very proud of this card. Cool to see overclockers put together a product like this!

that looks like a really tall card based on the bracket. why is this card 25-30mm taller?

Same as 680/780 Classified. It's got a custom PCB. :)
