About four months after AnandTech broke the news on Samsung cheating in mobile benchmarks, Futuremark issued a press release to state that devices suspected of faul play will be delisted in their device channel. Not only will they not appear at the top of the ranking, the owners of those devices will not receive a benchmark score. Currently we find the following devices as delisted:
- HTC One
- HTC One Mini
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
- Samsung Galaxy Note III
For more information you can refer to Futuremark's Approved Drivers section, or the Press Release. If now Futuremark could also make work of getting rid of LOD the way it dealt with AMD's Tesselation, and ensure fair image quality, we'd all be very happy.
