Roughly 10 days ago, a live overclocking competition was held at the Cybersport Arena in Kiev, Ukraine. With prize money exceeding USD $3000, two groups of overclockers aimed for the golden medal. The professional overclockers benched the Intel i7 2600K, MSI Z68A-GD65 (G3), 4GB Kingston KNX kit, MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk and a Coolermaster 1000W PSU with liquid nitrogen. The amateur overclockers benched the same system, but on air cooling.
The winner of the event is the most unfortunate overclocker of Ukraine: Cyclone, who teamed up with Highgertz. Second place was for H@NTer and mtech. Third place for MaJ0r and Nick.UA. In the amateur class, the win was for Plasman, followed by Master and Viper.
Congratulations to the Winners!
