Gradus Achieves Highest Frequency for SDRAM at 238 MHz CL3

Gradus, an overclocker from Russia, has established a new high for SDRAM frequency. The best frequency ever achieved with SDRAM is now 238 MHz!

For this astonishing overclocking result Gradus uses a single stick of 128MB SDRAM memory with timings 3-3-3-7-9 (tCAS-tRC-tRP-tRAS-tCS). In combination with a Tualatin based Celeron processor, the memory frequency of 238.1 MHz is achieved on an ASUS TUSL2-C motherboard featuring the i815EP chipset. The memory is cooled by air cooling, which is remarkable given the high frequency.
