Update! HD7970 destroys at 1700/1980 MHz: 15K 3DM11, 55K Vantage Single GPU
So, we already knew this new card was killer, but now Shamino (who else) pushed the card even further, resulting in a P15063 3DMark11 and P54725 3DMark Vantage result. Previous records for single GPU: P13144 with GTX580 at 1650/1325 and P48002 with GTX580 at 1595/1300 MHz. Impressive!
Suure, why not run graphics at 1700/2000 ... :D

Oh so fast; with a 5.6 SNB-E behind it too he's unstoppable. ...and don't forget the DDR3-2500 / 7-11-7-28 RAM. That's one heck of a total package!

It's nice amd came out with this but how can this be compared to a single core gpu when it has two engines like a dual core cpu on one die ?? It's like putting a dual core with the single core But I'm sure nivida might do the same who wouldn't better to advanced in tech then stay the same :)

Oh damn that sure are some sick scores. The new AMD GPUs really seem to be overclockable like hell, i wonder what custom designs will bring us. Looking forward to 2GHz GPU. Not to mention the memory. 1575 with standard voltage were impressive, but 2GHz (even vmodded and LN2 cooled)?! Are you f*cking serious? xD
