If i could only submit my score, tolds me every time this:

competition limitation: your submission does not comply A verification link is required.

Verification url must match pattern: http://anrieff.net/ucbench2011/viewitem.{0,4}?\?id=[0-9?]*

Are you adding a verification link to the score?

February 1, 2011 at 6:14:01 PM GMT

i cant make a submission with my Phenom X2 with three active Cores in Stage 3 :(

February 1, 2011 at 6:21:44 PM GMT

hey pieter i am reading but cant find where it says can i use for example E8600 with one core enabled, or gulf with 2 cores etc.

8 and 12 cores meaning threads (HT on)?

or you mean the future (or currently server) cpus?

edit: ok, i see you are referring to actual cores, HT is irrelevant!?

Dual Quad Xeons or Hex Xeons for the 8/12 cpu stages. The prog disregards HT

Yes, you can, but you won't do well in respectively 2x and 6x CPU category :D

Wait, are you telling that is legal dissable cores? For example, Is legal dissable two cores of a six core CPU and run the benchmark for stage 4? and the same process from one to six cores?

February 3, 2011 at 3:36:01 PM GMT

He's saying the opposite. If your CPU has 6 physical cores, you can only submit to the 6x category, even if you disable cores.

Thanks.

What about enabling cores?

February 3, 2011 at 10:57:37 PM GMT

What about enabling cores?

Enable cores can be do it without problems, since is part of overclock.

But a single core unlocked to dual core will still be considered a single core???

Same question for a x2 being unlocked to x4, it will be at the x2 ranking???

February 4, 2011 at 2:35:29 PM GMT

No.

The engine allows you to submit X2 with 4 functional cores, but the scores will be ranking as 4x CPU.

Great Massman!

That's how I like it

if u copy paste from browser, adress says "/ucbench/" not "/ucbench2011/"... had same problem, works fine if u add "2011"...

February 17, 2011 at 9:49:37 PM GMT

how about hyper treading ?

gulftown 980X 6core 12treads, it's allowed with use of HT and submit it in 6core stage ?

like Pzntium4 1c/2t, 670 cpu 2c/4t etc....

February 18, 2011 at 8:08:08 AM GMT

Yes.

6C+HT = 6C

Engine doesn't allow me to upload Phenom II X2 555 unlocked to X4 on stage 4

No.

Ok, I've uploaded from 2nd stage and it says 4x cores ranking, but stays into stage 2. This makes me №1 in that stage, which is obviously wrong, 'cause I have 2 extra cores.

Not that if you fix the bug my result is anything near competitive in "4 cores" category, but I'd happy to help with pointing out flaws. If I'm able to do it, others could too.

March 16, 2011 at 2:22:24 PM GMT

Is it necessary to run all threads or for example at dual cores we can just run the two thread (or four in case of HT cpus) test?

It is obvious that in a quad core cpu the test result will be based on a 4 thread (or 8 thread in case of HT cpus) not in 1, 2 or 3 threads test.

March 19, 2011 at 7:32:28 PM GMT

Massman, I can't submit in stage 3 with my unlocked x2 555 (3 cores). The engine doesn't seem to care that I choose "unlocked to x3 cores".

April 2, 2011 at 1:46:49 AM GMT

Someone need to look at this guys CPU-Z I.nfraR.ed. He posted in the x2 cores and he was running 4 cores, also different CPU as listed in his submission. It need to be rejected or posted again.

you can report the score just like eachother score. ;)

The CPU is not different, that's the way cpu-z shows an unlocked 555 to X4.

indeed number of cores are in the rulez of UCbench.
