Story #4: Hosting the HWBOT World Tour at LanETS

Back in early March HWBOT embarked on its first World Tour stop in North America, integrating a series of OC workshops and contests at one the continent’s largest LAN Parties, LanETS. To help us grasp what it means to be involved in an event like the HWBOT World Tour from the perspective of the host organisation, we caught up with William Lefrançois, Sponsorship and Communication coordinator at Lan ETS.

Story #3: HyperX Select HWBOT Contest Hosting and Consulting Services

Last year saw the return of HyperX OC Takeover, an OC contest that included four regional qualifiers with a Grand Final in Las Vegas. To ensure a successful, well run contest HyperX turned to HWBOT, a leading provider of overclocking services that included the following:

  • The setup and administration and hosting of qualifying tournaments both globally and regionally.
  • The monitoring and validation of all score submissions.
  • Consultation in respect to competition rules and event arrangement details.

Story #2: HWBOT Chosen as Consultants to Host and Moderate ASUS Open Overclocking Cup 2014 (AOOC 2014)

Renowned and respected enthusiast hardware vendor ASUS turned to HWBOT to help ensure the success of its latest overclocking event, the ASUS Open Overclocking Cup 2104. Key services Provided by HWBOT:

  • The setup, administration and hosting of a global qualification tournament.
  • The monitoring and validation of all score submissions.
  • Consultation in respect to competition rules and event arrangement details.

Story #1: HWBOT Chosen by MSI (MicroStar Intl.) to Support MOA 2014 Live Finals

Each year, MSI hosts the Master Overclocking Arena (“MOA”). MOA is an overclocking competition series for extreme overclockers around the world. The competition features an online qualification phase and a physical event for the finals. To support the logistics of handling several online qualifier events as well as live finals, MSI cooperated with HWBOT for assistance in the following areas:

  • To setup, administer, and host the qualification tournament for regional and global
  • To monitor and validate score submissions by participants
  • Consult on the competition rules and event arrangements

Quote: “With MOA 2014 we’ve successfully met all of our internal targets. Our top management was very pleased with the success of this year’s finals. Execution, exposure and scores – all lights are green”
