Samsung has also introduced its new microSD Ultra High Speed 1 (UHS-1) memory card that promises a speed four times faster than the others. This is the successor of the microSDXC and microSDHC that can be used with superphones, tablets and other mobile devices. As its name suggests, this new card has a read speed of up to 80MB per second. Initially, the microSD card will be available in a 16GB storage size. Samsung, however, plans to produce the card with greater storage size by 2013.

So expect more advanced and high-speed memory cards to come not only for digital cameras but for other mobile applications as well. But for now, you can try one of these new storage devices.
