775 ftw! Benching with crazzzy85
TaPaKaH says:
just wondering - what's the batch of this chip?
Don_Dan says:
I see the binning finally paid off!
der8auer says:
Yep
@ Sam: L746A718
TaPaKaH says:
L746 is not the sort of Allendale batch where I'd ever expect 500+ FSB on LN2, but I guess you're more lucky on chips than me
K404 says:
WTFF??? Are all of those E2140??
websmile says:
Kenny, as far as I know, and this matches the nsa reports I received today, these are all 2140 Batch L746, the palettes with L747, L748 and so on are not on the picture - so be prepared for some serious backups
Black Cobra says:
Nice Score Roman!
Moose83 says:
Lol Roman Binning extreme
George_oc says:
Nice one Roman!
WTF, are all these chips E2140s?
Crabby says:
Holy bunnyextraction! Are these new or from old systems? Also how many mb did you go through? Is this why your looking for a new rex? One day I hope to bin like this! hahahaha
Sweet says:
Like Haribo, Romaaannnnnnn
Jimba says:
Great Score! Nicely Done Roman!
So have you any backups?
So have you made a bin out of all the rejects?
varachio says:
Holy crap!!! If you use so many low end cpus for binning what about high end cpus that used for WR? Unrivalled!!!
der8auer says:
Well those CPUs are cheap as hell so you can buy a lot of those for the same price like one high end CPU.
There are E2140, E2160, E2180, E4300 and few Celerons on those Trays.
aftermath:
All marked with X are shit
K404 says:
So out of all those, it looks like you found 3 good ones. LOL I can't tell if this will motivate people or not :p
That's still ~£475 of CPUs
der8auer says:
Actually only 2 One good E2180 and one good E2140. Rest ist actually shit. Yea should be about 600€
TaPaKaH says:
Do you really have E21x0/E4300 doing 500+ FSB on air?
amirhosein says:
VERY NICE ROMAN
Each package is a seem batch ?
amirhosein says:
same batch i mean
der8auer says:
No it's a big mix of everything. Those are all used CPUs from old office PCs.
@ Sam: The top right tray is E4300 and they are bunnyextraction. E21x0 500 FSB on air - yes.
TaPaKaH says:
How do the 480+ air chips do on LN2?
Usually, you gain 60-70MHz on FSB so you should easily be going above 550.
der8auer says:
The 500+ chips are frequency limited and not FSB limited. One E2180 does 480 FSB on air and 520 FSB on LN2 using x6 multi. Using x10 multi the max FSB is 505 (5050 MHz). I went up to 2,15 vCore which still scaled but above did not help. Temperature was about -145°C
One E2140 which does 500 FSB on air does 560 FSB with lowest multi but only 548 using the highest. PLL Voltage helped a bit to push further but it did not like temperatures below -75°C and vCore above 1,70 Volt so no chance to push the core freq higher.
ZFeSS says:
Wow, almost 550+.
I've got a pack of 2180 and get a problem - few cpus get only 320 FSP at 10x multi(3200MHz), but no problem for 400+ FSB at x9(3600+). It's not the same in your case?
