new version and old bugs)
subaruwrc says:
so this classic theme is the rev 8? looking good btw and loads faster then rev 7.
richba5tard says:
Yup, thanks!
Matsglobetrotter says:
Yeah this revision looks good, loads fast, feels robust and stable from first moment. Cudos to the team behind all the work!! Time to rack'em points up.
ShrimpBrime says:
Nice Job Richba5tard! Looks good, everything is nice quick and smooth responsive.
Thank you.
kristjan.krusic says:
Thanks for the update. Still a bunch of bugs to be fixed I see (example clicking on the comment numbers on newsflash posts).
richba5tard says:
Thanks! I see forum comments are not always loaded on hwbot though. Need to figure out why.
In the meanwhile I've improved the personal page to show a clear distinction between the career and season points:
Noxinite says:
Oh, are the country and team rankings now segregated by which league you are in?
richba5tard says:
Yes, always been so and I did not change it.
Noxinite says:
I don't remember that. /Oops.
richba5tard says:
test
Alan_Alberino says:
Before they were general, it said the position between all members of your country of any league, and not the same members of your league in your country...
DanKadr says:
That’s true. Maybe we can have both? IMO, the position between all members in the team/country regardless the league is more important than the position by leagues
Mr.Scott says:
Position by leagues will be irrelevant if leagues are to be juggled next month as planned.
Probably should hold on critique until ALL of the updates are applied.
Antinomy says:
what's wrong on the second screen? I'll try to fix the one on the first, it's a parser error.
TASOS says:
I see you all write that it loads fast and it's very responsive.
What could be the problem for me ?
It takes more than 30 seconds to load the first page and also every page i go through navigating
Seems like it stucks at loading cloudfront.net
richba5tard says:
Thats sucks @TASOS, cloudfront is the CDN network of Amazon AWS. They are responsible for getting the static data to you as fast as possible. Is it one specific request which is always slow, or all requests to cloudfront? I hope it's a temp issue for your edge location.
leeghoofd says:
@TASOSI have similar issues with the Firefox browserTasos on Win8.1 on the laptop. However the same Firefox version for Win10 on the desktop has no issues. Installing chrome did the trick for the laptop here, maybe worth a try
Don_Dan says:
Rev 8 is looking good so far, @richba5tard, The site loads very quickly for me on Win 10 with Firefox as well.
Well done!
richba5tard says:
So many people using firefox. ?
Remarc says:
no ryzen r3 2300x r5 2500x r5 2600/2600x r7 2700/2700x are displayed only mobile version
mobile version dublicated in two section
Achill3uS says:
since when superpi 1M, wprime and pifast lost the global points???
GeorgeStorm says:
1m and wprime 32m rev7, pifast rev8.
There were threads about benchmarks gaining/losing points
rtsurfer says:
The mobile site is a great improvement as well.
nicegab says:
GeorgeStorm says:
As mentioned already, at the moment the national and team ranks are based on your league.
So it's saying you're the #1 ranked Enthusiast in France and in your team.
nicegab says:
TASOS says:
Win7 and firefox ... causes the problem here.
I tested with explorer and it works fine.
richba5tard says:
I'm preparing a fix for the profile, @nicegab
edit: Profile fixed, team and country rank is no longer based on league, and worldwide rank is correct.
Noxinite says:
One little thing I noticed was that the UI on the moderation page seems broken for me (so the Team Captain mod page). Anyone else had an issue with this?
richba5tard says:
Leeghoofd reported the layout was way to wide, I have the same issue. Not solved yet.
Edit: fixed
Antinomy says:
Same here. Dead slow bringing a list of hardware through the search menu on main page. 2-3 times slower than before. Will try Explorer though haven't used it for over a decade
TheRedBaron says:
Same as others. With Edge is fast at loading and responsive, but with Firefox is soo slow, it reloads some graphic parts every time I scroll the page or change tab.
Edit: The iGPU stay at 100% load with hwbot. No problem with the forum page on Firefox.
hidde663 says:
win 10 + firefox = i can hear my VRM when switching tabs haha, also incredible slow on my laptop.
chrome seems fine tho
ZFeSS says:
I've got a problem with HWDB page. It gives me 500 error, break area around logo and make text style in search window unreadable. Search window in Firefox seems slow for me too, IE works fine. "Team rankings" tab on the team page not working in Firefox - it redirects to main team tab after loading, IE works fine.
Opera 12 is working! Got problems with smooth scrolling and slow search window only.
leeghoofd says:
Maybe we can include Firefox as a benchmark soon ?
DanKadr says:
Is it just me, or can’t we search for hardware/members ect in the new rev via mobile?
TerraRaptor says:
Same question here. Need to go desktop version to search
zeropluszero says:
is it?
richba5tard says:
Well it was very bad and now it is less very bad. So yeah. ?
Mr.Scott says:
Not without a wrapper.
richba5tard says:
No issues with FF on Mac OSX. I'll need to check on my windows pc.
delly says:
I had that problem on the notebook with Intel IGP and Windows 10. I solved by turning off hardware acceleration in Firefox...
richba5tard says:
Do you have the same issue with https://uat.hwbot.org?
delly says:
Yes, I only solve by turning off the HW acceleration
no problem on other PCs with Windows 10 and FF (v65) with vga NVIDIA or AMD...
richba5tard says:
FYI I made a separate github repo just for issue tracking, which is public so people can make issues without being part of COLARDYN IT.
https://github.com/COLARDYNIT/hwbot-issues/issues
rtsurfer says:
For me it is
Previously the frontpage scores table content was overflowing off the page, so it was a giant PITA to use. Now the table is inline with the rest of the page and actually usable.
Edit:- Seems as others noted, search is gone. But it was wonky anyways. Maybe they'll bring it back when its fixed.
bolc says:
Hi,
On my side the layout makes the loading way too long. Keeping having this type of screen, spreading on all tabs of Mozilla, whether hwbot or not, and thn you get some of the display, then all. but as soon as you load another page, it starts over.
EDIT: apparently no problem with IEXPLORER
bolc says:
EDIT: the site is extremely fast and "responsive" on IEXPLORER !
Strunkenbold says:
This is correct. Raven CPUs are Zen gen1. AMDs Marketing Team decided to give them 2000er numbers.
Zen+ aka Zen gen 2 will have 3000er numbers BTW.
unityofsaints says:
I think the issue is that these CPUs are being listed under both gen 1 and 2. Also, 2000 series desktop chips are missing completely.
richba5tard says:
The database sure is happy with rev8. The geek in me is satisfied.
Strunkenbold says:
Ah now I see this. Yes this is an old bug. Appeared already multiple times in the past.
IMO it's a problem how the bot handles name strings. For some reason the bot isn't able to handle exact strings. If there is something similar, it just chooses this
It's like the search engine had always a bug if you search for users.
Like you search for submissions from user "blablabla". If there is also a user "Blabla". The bot just shows subs from him. But the are no results from the actual "blablabla" query.
miker2ka says:
Any idea why hwbot is incredible slow on firefox?
delly says:
try turning off the acceleration hw in FF
leeghoofd says:
or use Chrome...
bolc says:
alleluia ! thank you !
Chrome, never !
Matsglobetrotter says:
Today it seems something has happened on the site. Suddenly I am in the extreme league. I do like my apprentice status as I have never run anything beyond DICE which is in the apprentice class.
I cant and will not use LN as it would be illegal to even bring it into my condo..
OC.Queen says:
Gotta agree I love rev 8 so much quicker to load only thing it's missing is a more friendly search. For example I type 780ti and get no results, then have to type 780 and select the TI in the list...it's a bit akward. Though to be honest I've gotten used to it.
unityofsaints says:
Googling "780ti HWBot" works better. Kind of a sad state of affairs
1whiteshark1 says:
no issue here, put a space between 780 and ti
miker2ka says:
My hw point from the memory frequency keeps oscillating between 0.4 and 20 ...
