Here’s another great video from South African No.1 DrWeez. The video is pitched specifically to enthusiasts interested in benching at ambient temperatures using an All-in-One cooler. Andrew uses a Core i7 6700K processor with an ASUS ROG Maximus VII Gene motherboard, plus a DDR4 HoF memory kit from Galax. The motives for tackling ambient overclocking with an i7 6700K is that rAge Johannesburg is just around the corner and will offer visitors the chance to compete in some live ambient overclocking. As Andrew explains in the video, the challenges faced with overclocking a Core i7 6700k largely involve two issues; the amount voltage applied and the effectiveness of the cooling in keeping temperatures in check. One of the great things about the way Andrew presents these live streams is that he shows System Telemetry, in other words a live feed that shows CPU and Lab temperatures throughout.

This is a great video for less experienced overclockers as Andrew starts from the basics including the choice of operating system, choice of power profile and more.
