Corsair has just announced its latest DDR4 memory kit which interestingly is designed specifically to look good when used with ASUS Republic of Gamers motherboards. The new 16 GB (4x4GB) Dominator Platinum kit comes replete with a ROG-style color scheme, using a black ten-layer PCB sporting a heatsink made of red aluminum and a top bar colored to match the popular ASUS motherboard line.

Designed in collaboration with ASUS and rated for DDR4-3200 operation with a CAS latencies of 16-18-18-36, the new memory kit will be compatible with all Intel 100-series motherboards. However Corsair have implemented a custom XMP 2.0 profile specifically for ROG-branded motherboards that raises the clock rate to 3,333MHz at the same CAS timings. This feature works exclusively on ASUS ROG Z170 platform motherboards.
