In the Skylake (Z170) OC subforum you can find thread related to Skylake overclocking, varying from thermal paste tests to overclocking guides for the GIGABYTE Z170x-SOC Force, the ROG Maximus VIII series and the MSI motherboards. In one of the threads you can find Z170 BIOS, tools, facts, stats and list of mainboards. Today we updated the thread with the latest statistics and uploaded 42+ new BIOSes (more are added as I'm writing this newsflash)!

In terms of statistics, we now have more than 6800 Skylake overclocking submissions in the database originating from 635 overclockers worldwide. In total 77(!) mainboards have been used. The most popular brand currently is ASUS, with the ASUS Maximus VIII Hero and MSI Z170A Gaming M7 as most used product. 32% of the overclocks are done with all-in-one water cooling, whereas only 19% with the extreme liquid nitrogen. Ultraex2005 from Germany relieves Digg_de from his duty as most active Skylake overclocker with 236 submissions. The Core i7 6700K and Core i5 6600K are the most used CPUs, of course, but we expect the Core i3 6320 and the mobile Core i7 6820HK to grow in popularity over the coming months.
