About a month ago, we actually covered similar news of the Pro OC Cup. In the Fire Strike Extreme stage of the Pro OC Cup, so far the battle for number one is a continuous struggle between K|ngp|n (US), representing KPC Pro OC, and Rbuass (BR), representing United Overclockers. With the graphics card priced at about USD $1000, it takes a lot of courage to get extreme with the GTX Titan.

Luckily, KPC Pro OC has backing from eVGA and Zotac is supporting Rbuass from United Overclockers. Thanks to the donations (or "sponsorships") by the two vendors, we can see a Fire Strike Extreme head to head about once every two weeks. Last weekend, it happened again. Rbuass opened the debates by topping K|ngp|n's previous high score of 7308 by a mere twelve (12) points. That is when it kicked off. K|ngp|n responded with a 7343 point score, quickly followed by a 7362 result from Brazil. K|ngp|n returned with a +6 points to 7668, but got an immediate reply from Rbuass with 7388 points. As I'm writing this news post, the latest result is from K|ngp|n with 7409 points - the first over 7400 in Fire Strike Extreme with a single GPU.

Keep it coming, boys! I haven't seen this tight battle in a long time in overclocking and it reminds me of the old days where Hipro5, MickeyMouse or Kinc would make things difficult for K|npg|n. I LOVE IT!
