I have two sticks of Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 DDR3 dual channel currently and i wanted to add some more ram. I bought a these (8GB kit Viper) installed on a Asus Z87 Pro MB with a i7-4770k at 4.5GhzAt first i got a windows boot error; realized my mistake one of the Ram slots was not clicked into place on the bottom (tight space; first slot next to my CPU water pump) once fixed i tested both sticks and they loaded windows without issues.I added my Denominators back in and everything works without issues.Speeds Dominator is much faster (2133) but i had to sacrifice a small speed bump for 8 more GB for less than 35 dollars.Glad i bought these! If you get windows repair popup reseat your Ram sticks and install and load windows one at a time until all are installed and running.Now time to overclock! 😃😃😃 screenshots are prior to OC

I purchased two sets of these to breathe a little life into an aging and struggling gaming rig. They slotted in easily, and though my CPU's 103 Cooler Master overlapped one of the slots, the memory's heatsink was just the right size to still fit underneath with a little clearance. Both sets were properly detected by the board and work perfectly.

I had a PC that was starting to run slow. Turns out it had a small amount of RAM, and the programs were always swapping out for space. This isn't a heavy use machine, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. These cards had a very nice synergy between price point, performance, and amount of memory. I more than doubled the usable RAM, using only half my slots.
One thing to watch out for. There were plenty of cards that had built-in heat sinks. I think this is a good idea. The width between card slots will probably always be sufficient, but you might want to be aware of the height available inside your box. The heat sinks make these cards a bit TALLER than normal. I was putting these in a SFF (small form factor) machine, where some of the RAM slots sit UNDER the hard drive. Fortunately, I had a pair of slots that weren't under the drive. But, you will want to verify you have enough clearance to install.
Overall, a great value.

This RAM brought life back into my mom's 8 year old computer.

I built this low-end system back in 2010. It is an AM3 system with an Athlon II X2 CPU. The original OS was Windows 7. I had originally installed 4GBs of RAM on it.

Like all Windows PCs, they bloat up and slow down over time. Then the unfortunate upgrade of Windows 10 came along, and RAM dependency of Windows and software increased exponentially over time. I think one of the biggest kickers was some of the patches Microsoft pushed through in January 2018 (Specter patch?) slowed things down the most. Long story short, 4GB of RAM was no longer enough and the computer turned into a hog.

Fast forward, Using Task Manager, I figured I needed to do two upgrades. The RAM the first and easiest upgrade. Amazon delivered within hours of when I ordered! And luckily I was visiting my mom's house when it came.

In 15min, I unplugged her computer, opened up the tower and popped these two DIMMs onto the motherboard. Closed it up. Plugged the wires back in. Started it up. BOOM! Computer went from 4GB of RAM to now 12GB of RAM. I went into some of the programs and websites she goes into and everything worked like a charm: Huge improvement! It is like a new computer.

Can't wait see what she thinks of the next upgrade when I do it.

Edit:
I saw some people complaining that this isn't working on their AMD systems - My only comments are:
(1) Check the Motherboard manufacturer
(2) If you are mixing 2 different type of RAM chips together, manually set the timing and speed of the RAM (via BIOS) to the lower-speced set of RAM.
(3) The Motherboard I Installed this on has a AMD 785G Chipset and AMD SB710 South Bridge.

Módulos fabricados recientemente (como reporta CPU-Z) a pesar de ser DDR3, que funcionan sin fallos en un ordenador "difícil" por varias razones. Los de 4GB (he comprado 2 pares y he puesto los 4) tienen un solo rango en un solo lado, gracias a que las más recientes tecnologías de fabricación permiten chips de capacidades más altas y no hay que poblar ambos lados (los de 8GB, que había comprado para otro ordenador más moderno y menos problemático, sí pueblan ambos lados y también son estables). Esto se traduce en menor carga capacitiva para el controlador (poniendo una analogía física, como si tuviese que aguantar y mover menos "peso"), menos calor a disipar y mayor estabilidad. Muy satisfecho.

Reconnu au branchement et j'ai jamais rencontré de problème de stabilité depuis l'installation.
Quelque soit l'utilisation, ca roule tout seul.
