XtremeLabs.org Primus Inter Pares III

XtremeLabs.org benching team was founded in late 2008. Less than a year later it became #1 in Ukraine and managed to get into HWBOT's TOP-20 Team League. Currently this community contains of 19 participants only. Entrance to XtremeLabs.org is open only to the strongest ones and most addicted.

Every year during summer-autumn season the team runs it's insider competition, 'Primus Inter Pares' Challenge ('The First among the Equal'). The challenge is for fun mostly and for affordable benching of popular hardware. Team gains boints, members gain boints and souvenirs, everybody gets as much fun as he wants to. E.g. during the 2009 'Primus Inter Pares' Challenge TiN's first Frankenstein was born . We appreciate crazy benching ideas.

Time for the new challenge has come! This year we want to involve as much people in the game as possible. That's why XtremeLabs.org together with HWBOT launches 'Primus Inter Pares III' Challenge. In 2009 it was for making boints on 10 identical GeForce 6600 LE GDDR3 cards. In 2010 we benched GeForce 6600 GT without the model limits. In 2011 it's all about the GeForce 8600 GT series! These cards are quite cheap and popular to have real fun, the category is really strong!

The contest consists of three stages - 3DMark2001 SE, 3DMark03 and Aquamark. Contest partner, Innovision Multimedia (Inno3D), decided to help us make it even more interesting and provided some prizes:

  • 1st place = Inno3D GeForce 560Ti
  • 2nd place = Inno3D GeForce 560
  • 3rd place = Inno3D GeForce GT 440

Participants from Ukraine will additionally get random luck souvenirs. Exact number and variety will be updated soon!

Limitations:

  • - The contest is open to everybody.
  • - Only use GeForce 8600 GT Series graphic cards.
  • - Use 1 videocard
  • - Use official competition background: link
  • - Please attach a picture of your overclocking rig.
  • - A verification screenshot is required.
  • - A verification link is required for 3DMark03 result.

To win one of the prizes, you must check in at the XtremeLabs.org forums and give a shout at their English-only section. Link.

Competition runs from Aug 25th, 00:00 until Sep 25th 23:59 GMT+2

Prizes will be sent to the winners via Ukrainian Postal Service, free of charge. XtremeLabs.org, HWBOT and Inno3D reserve the right to slightly change the prizes (for better :P). XtremeLabs.org and HWBOT representatives together have the final word on any case caused by the contest.

To be able to provide this kind of service we have tried to design some submission and general rules to help remove any doubts about whether something is allowed or not.
