Would you like to write a tool and BIOS distribution application here?
I don't get how anyone can actually enter this event when the equipment needed isn't being sold or is sold out everywhere I've looked. I've searched everywhere - this equipment is vaporware for us over in USA.
The whole point of the contest is you have to buy the hw from galax directly and it's limited edition, sadly means if you're late to the party/can't buy straight away you'll miss out (as I was)
It was available for sale on galaxstore.net. However it is too late now.
what is the cpu limit mhz?
George/RT, I mean, how early did I need to be? I started checking the day after it was announced on HWbot... I didn't realize it was exclusive to galaxstore.net so maybe I spent a lot of time searching other places for no reason. Oh well, now I know for next year but by the sounds of it we are talking VERY limited edition so even being early doesn't guarantee anything, right? Good luck to all those who entered!
Well, I just ordered a memory kit (pre-ordered) so I can enter some of the stages, right? ;-)
if it is the 4600C19 kit theoretically yes you can enter stage 1 and 2, BUT you need to have a Galax GPU too.
However you can't be picked for the lucky draw prizes as you need to submit in all stages, (stage 3-4-5 need the HOF 2080Ti)
no worries - I'll take the extra points towards my overall league score!
nothing states that we need gpu to be Galax.. only the memory need to be galax
meanwhile i have GALAX D-4000 Mem and try upload. gut system give 500 error... and seemingly i cant have any CPU clockspeed as anything will give incomplete submission.... also to note there is no point in submitting SPD pages as hmm they are all blank on my HOF memory!!!
Install an old version of cpuz on top of the newer version, I've found latest cpuz has issues with spd. If you're running portable cpuz then
You need to be using the 4600CL19 ram, read the thread I linked.
actually i should not need to read a forum post to understand the fundamental rule for a contest. that should be pretty clear in the limitations as it is on other contests on the site;-) otherwise just link the limitations to the post on the forum...

When it says CPU core/uncore is limited to 6 Ghz (plus/minus 10 mhz) does that mean up to 6 Ghz (so 5 Ggz would be acceptable) or 6 Ghz only with a small spread of 10 mhz on either side?
DO not talking, the game started.
Limited to means maximum speed is 6GHz so yes 5GHz is fine
9900K on z370?
nope 8086K max... no new 9 series CPUs
Trying to submit my GPUPI score for the comp and its not being accepted? Rules are saying that 2.3 is mandatory for the bench, but my 2.3.4 score not being accepted....
