My overkill build I named R2900D2 because of the triple R9 290's fit into a Corsair 900D. After this monstrosity I think a micro ITX build is in order. I doubt it matters but my 3rd 290 was disabled for this run as tri-fire rarely works anyway. I used to be able to push this chip to 4.6 or 4.7 but it seems to have degraded a bit, that or the new Spectre micro code in the hotfix bios has hampered its OC potential.
