I believe this is possible because of the Supermicro C7H170-M. Well played Supermicro!!!
dhenzjhen says:
Thanks for the kind words guys, but that wasn't really a hard mod. This is a combination of BIOS+hw. The wire you see in the pix is only for vcore readout.
@loud, didn't have CPUZ validation but can do it when I get a chance.
170 blk is the highest I've seen so far http://imgur.com/PaCEcKt.jpg
GraduS says:
BIOS+hw? plz more information
dhenzjhen says:
Unlocked bios + hardware sauce. Not gonna into details because I myself dunno what sauce has been added into the board.
xxbassplayerxx says:
Is the BIOS public?
rtsurfer says:
Million dollar question.

You need Video Proof..?
WhiteWulfe says:
Oh, did somebody say video and how this thread needs more popcorn?
Lucky_n00b says:
My sources tell me that this 'bclk unlocking' should be a legit feature from SuperMicro C7H170-M motherboard, if I remember it right it's called SuperMicro SuperJet Technology or something.
Really interested in how they did it though, kudos to SuperMicro to make something like this! :ws:
Massman says:
Possible for David to provide Jagat with a test sample to verify @Lucky_n00b?
Lucky_n00b says:
ALready did it a week ago, the board should arrive today
SoF says:
