Ah i think triple channel is another circuit layout or not supported and the only other possibility is dual channel mode i guess. Must be 4 times a 1Gb and a 2Gb stick together in Quad channel Mode i think but there are no DDR4 Sticks with that size, only 4 and 8Gb.
I could make sense because you are lowering the stress for the IMC with that so you can run a higher stable Frequency but
maybe the Prog is reading shit or
he got some special Ram kits or
he is running ramdisk with the benchmark progs.
