Hicookie hits 3D World Record page with 4x HD5870 SOC

Make no mistake, although the final results make it look easy, running four GPUs and one CPU on liquid nitrogen is not child's play. Gigabyte wonder boy Hicookie was not only able to manage the five liquid nitrogen containers, but finished the session with a set of very impressive results.

Using four HD5870 SOC graphics card clocked to 1350/1300 in Vantage, a 980X Gulftown CPU well above 6.2GHz and all this mounted of the top-of-the-line GA-X58A-UD9 mainboard. The results are, to use an understatement, quite impressive: 3rd in 3DMark03, 2nd in 3DMark Vantage and 2 world records in 3DMark05 and 3DMark06!

Apart from the astonishing results, of course, it's the CPU frequency at which the 3DMark05 run was completed that really made my eyes pop out. I'm almost scared to write it ... but, six thousand seven hundred mega'hurts'!
