In Week 48 of 2017, we received 3410 benchmark results from 1004 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 64% of the active community. They were responsible for 45% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

During Week 48 of 2017, three overclockers made the leaderboard with a golden cup. First up is Dancop from Germany with two entries. First up is the Global First Place in the Cinebench R15 6xCPU category with a Core i7 8700K clocked to 7 GHz (!). That same incredible CPU also helped Dancop to the Global First Place in Aquamark3 1xGPU. For the latter, the CPU clock was turned up to an incredible 7245 MHz on liquid nitrogen. Absolute beast! The second golden cup winner of the week is Luumi from Finland with a Hardware First Place in the Aquamark GeForce GTX 285 category. The graphics card is clocked at 1065/1460 MHz and paired with a Core i7 7740X processor clocked at 6832 MHz. Last but not least we have a Rookie joining the golden victory lap this week: Joe1452 from the USA nailed the first place in the XTU Core i5 5200U ranking with a score of 479 marks. The most used hardware components of Week 48 are the Core i7 8700K (13.6%), GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (12.2%) and the ROG Maximus X Hero (WI-FI AC) (3.3%). In total the community used 285 different CPUs, 212 different GPUs and 740 different motherboards.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 48 generated in total 30 World Record Points, 8239.7 Global Points, and 6873.7 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 13% for Elite, 27% for Extreme, 9% for Apprentice, 16% for Enthusiast, 12% for Novice, and 32% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 1% Elite, 6% Extreme, 3% Apprentice, 16% Enthusiast, 10% Novice, and 64% Rookie.
