For obvious reasons, I check the new submissions tab on the front page of HWBOT more than once a day to see if any new world records are broken and to have an overview of the best scores submitted in the last 24h. Since a few weeks I have noticed that one team seems to be present on that page almost 24/7: Team KATANA.

At first sight, this may look like just another overclocking team, but the contrary is true as their submission statistics are quite amazing. Since February, roughly three months ago, the team has increased the total amount of points by a factor of 7; with 3000+ global points they can easily compete with most of the top-10 teams and ... their total member count is only 8(!).

With 5 of the 8 members in the top-50 of the Overclockers League, I have to say that I'm looking forward to what will be coming from this team in the near future. Or maybe a little scared as Team KATANA is getting a bit too close to my team ...
