In Week 47 of 2017, we received 3966 benchmark results from 988 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 61% of the active community. They were responsible for 41% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

During Week 47 of 2017, two overclockers made the leaderboard with a golden cup. First up is the king of 3D benching, K|ngp|n from the United States with a Global First Place in the 1xGPU 3DMark Fire Strike ranking. Pairing a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti clocked at 2708/1645 MHz with an Intel Core i9 7980XE processor clocked at 5712 MHz resulted in a new best score of 36935 marks. Also rolling in gold this week is Luumi from Finland with a new Hardware First Place in the highly contested SuperPI 32M Core i7 920 ranking. With a beast of a CPU clocked at 5461 MHz, Luumi improved the top result to 6 minutes and 33.921 seconds, almost 5 (!) seconds faster than second place Zzolio. Amazing!

The most used hardware components of Week 47 are the Core i7 8700K (9.1%), GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (13.0%) and the ASUS ROG Rampage VI Apex (4.6%). In total the community used 333 different CPUs, 236 different GPUs and 812 different motherboards.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 47 generated in total 35 World Record Points, 7347.7 Global Points, and 6619.6 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 12% for Elite, 27% for Extreme, 8% for Apprentice, 21% for Enthusiast, 11% for Novice, and 29% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 2% Elite, 6% Extreme, 4% Apprentice, 17% Enthusiast, 10% Novice, and 61% Rookie.
